St. Vincent de Paul
St. Vincent de Paul home visits help people recognize they have self-worth. Our work is about preservation of families, listening to them, holding them together and affirming their human dignity.
Compelled to action by the convictions of our founders, St. Vincent de Paul of Seattle|King County joins the community to listen, engage, and build relationships that assist and advocate for individuals and families to meet basic needs and achieve stability and self-sufficiency.
Our Mission Statement:
“Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic volunteer organization, leads individuals to join together to offer person-to-person service to the poor and the suffering. In doing this work, we all enrich our lives spiritually.”
St. Bridget & Assumption St. Vincent de Paul conference members:
We have a dedicated group of volunteers (Vincentians) here at St. Bridget and Assumption Parishes who carry out the work of St. Vincent de Paul. The support of our two parishioner groups allow us to carry out our mission. Thank you for the cash donations, donations to our food bank, donations to our stores and prayers. With your assistance we are able to help prevent eviction, hunger, utility shut-offs and provide compassionate assistance to anyone who needs help.
If you or someone you know is in need of assistance call the
St. Vincent de Paul Assistance line at 206-767-6449.
