Music Ministry

The primary aim of the St. Bridget Choir is the active and prayerful participation of the assembly in the songs and acclamations of the Liturgy. Our ministry currently consists of an all ages choir but we will be add two new groups this Fall: Youth Ensamble (Musicians in Grades 6-12) and Children's Choir (singers in grades K-5). 

Rehearsals resuming!
Choir practice will resume on Tuesday, August 29th, from 7pm-8pm in the church. Practices will be twice a month until December. November rehearsals will be on 11/7, 11/14 and 11/28.
 

Choir
The St. Bridget Choir sings weekly at the 9:30 am Sunday Mass. Rehearsals are at 8:30am on Sundays, with additional Tuesday evening rehearsals throughout the year. All voice types, instrumentalists and levels of experience are welcome, no audition required! Our musical repertoire includes multiple musical styles including traditional hymns, contemprary praise music, choral anthems and more. 

Teen Ensamble
The St. Bridget Youth Ensamble is open to all musicians in 6th-12th grade. Our music will mostly be contemperary praise music by artists like Sarah Hart and Matt Maher. Youth ensmable will practice once a month and will be singing at Saturday 5pm Mass throughout the year. This is an open ensamble, no audition necessary, where all voice types and instrumentalists of any level of experience are welcome. Service hours are available for rehearsals and Masses.

Children's Christmas Choir
 Open to all children in grades K-5th, no previous music experience or audition required. Rehearsals are 12/3, 12/10, & 12/17 from 10:45-11:30AM. Dress Rehearsal 12/23 12-1PM. For more information please email Sarah Chopyak at [email protected].
