Altar Servers

Baptized youth in grades 4-12 are invited to assist at Sunday/holy day Masses and other special Masses such as weddings or funerals.  A two-three hour training session is required and training sessions always occurs in September/October and then as needed throughout the year.

Altar Linens Group

Interested in helping with altar linens? This group assists once a week on a rotating basis. Parishioners take the soiled sacred linens (used during the week) home after Mass on Sunday, wash and iron them and then return them to the office for the next week. Special instructions on the proper care of the sacred linens is given & taught.

Eucharistic Adoration

Adoration with the Eucharist Exposed in the Monstrance is held on Mondays from 3:00-10:00 PM. Parishioners may also enter the church for prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament at any time during the day from 9am – 4pm. Rekindle your relationship with God, promise yourself a novena or consider Monday Adoration.

Your prayer in this hour could be the most effective volunteer time you spend. You are free to choose the hour you wish.

Eucharistic Ministers

Eucharistic ministers help to distribute communion at all weekend and daily masses. To serve as a Eucharistic minister, you must attend Mass on a regular basis and have received the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.) Please arrive fifteen minutes prior to the service to check your assignment.

Readers proclaim the scriptures at Sunday and weekday Masses. Two lectors are assigned to each Mass on Saturday and Sunday.  Training is provided and consistent attendance at Mass is expected.

Sacristan responsibilities include overseeing the logistical details in the sanctuary and altar for the celebration the liturgy.

 Ushers and Greeters

Ushers welcome and greet parishioners as they come to mass, help find seating when needed, take up the collection, facilitate the distribution of communion, pass out bulletins at the end of mass and help to tidy up the church prior to the next service.

Art and Environment

Arrange the flowers and decorate the church for all seasons & solemnities including Thanksgiving, Christmas & Easter. We concentrate on the visual part of the liturgy. Individual members commit to setting up the weekend flower arrangements and flower/plant maintenance on a rotating basis.
