Parish Picnic & Elephant Stampede 2019
This year, we celebrate 22-years in partnership with our sister parish in Namitembo, Malawi. During this time, we have aided through good times, famine and floods. We’ve built schools, formed friendships and created business opportunities which has led to unexpected glimpses of grace that fill us with renewal, vigor, and a better sense of purpose.
As we have heard from Fr. Bill, church is an extension of hospitality and welcome. We cannot think of a better way to celebrate hospitality and welcome than with food, faith, friendship and FUN, while helping aid our friends in Namitembo.
This year, our St. Bridget Parish Picnic and Elephant Stampede in support of our Sister Parish in Namitembo, Malawi, will be held on Sunday, September 15th, from 4:30pm – 6:30pm, in the parish hall and patio.
Bring your family and friends with you, as we at St. Bridget Parish share a meal of tantalizing grilled burgers & hot dogs, delicious salads, tempting desserts, and refreshing beverages (beer, soda, and water), to support our friends in Namitembo.
Your donation at the Parish Picnic and Elephant Stampede is purposed for educational projects in Namitembo. This year we were able to send an additional $5,000 for flood and famine relief from Cyclone Idai because of your past grace and generosity.
Please complete the registration form and return it with your donation to Namitembo School Fund. We look forward to seeing you at the Picnic on Sunday, September 15th.
