This is a monumental year for both the St. Gerard and Holy Family Guilds.  In June 2009 it was

unanimously decided to unite the two guilds.  Being a part of a parish guild gives us a unique

feeling of sisterhood and also an opportunity to serve our parish when needed.

Some of the activities of the guild are:

1.  Coffee Hours every third Sunday of the month.

2.  Washing all the kitchen towels each week - no ironing.

3.  Funding and making sandwiches for St. Francis House every Wednesday morning.

4.  Pick up and slice bagels every Wednesday morning, donated by Noahs Bagels.

5.  Christmas Party to raise funds for Fr. Tim to use at his discretion for our own parishioners.

6.  Organize funeral receptions held in the parish hall for deceased Guild members and their

immediate family.

7.  Meetings are held the 4th Wednesday of each month.  We begin with Mass at 11:30 a.m. in

the chapel, followed by lunch in the Fireside Room.

This is a wonderful way to get to know many of the ladies of the parish.
