The Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Guild was named for the founder of the Sisters of Charity, the first congregation of religious women in the United States. The Sisters of Charity, under the direction of St Elizabeth Ann Seton, laid the foundation for our immense parochial school system in the United States. The Guild was formed  at St Bridget's in 1992 primarily to provide an opportunity for fellowship with women in the parish, while supporting the needs of the church and the community. We meet monthly in the evening to accommodate the schedules of professionals and others with busy daytime schedules. We share good company and have raised funds for Sacred Heart Shelter, our parish schools, the annual auction and other community programs through the sale of our "bean soup mix", an annual dinner party (crab feed ) and other events. We are always open to new members, as well as new ideas for projects, fundraisers and fellowship.
