MISSION

St. Bridget Parish is a vibrant, caring and welcoming community of faith, gathering together in Northeast Seattle to celebrate the Eucharist. We are committed to loving and serving Jesus by loving and serving our members and all God's people, especially those in need.

Guided by our Catholic faith and traditions, in communion with the Church throughout the world, we hold these particular values most dear;

VISION

St. Bridget Church brings the light of God's life to the parishioners and serves as a beacon of hope to those in need. We are a welcoming parish that supports, encourages, educates and loves its families. Our liturgy draws each of us closer to God, strengthens the bonds between us, and attracts new members. Through our charitable and social justice outreach, St. Bridget Parish makes a positive and permanent impact on our children, our families, our neighbors and the world.

GOALS

I. To draw our community ever closer to God by enhancing our liturgical celebrations and programs for personal, spiritual growth.

II. To pass on our faith, values and traditions to our children to form the best possible followers of Jesus Christ and leaders of a future Church.

III. To channel our passion for learning into religious education opportunities that form and transform parishioners of all ages into disciples of Jesus Christ.

IV. To invest ourselves as a Parish and as individual households in the needs of the poor and in social justice initiatives.

V. To be vibrant, caring and welcoming community of communities, committed to our growth as a Parish family.

VI. To empower and inspire the pastoral council to reach its full potential as part of the Parish leadership team.
