Nursery Care
Did you know that
St. Bridget’s provides nursery care for small children of our parish
during the 8:30 am and 10:30 am Masses every Sunday except Easter and
Christmas? Did you know that St. Bridget’s has a Nursery complete with
toys, big screen TV, children’s videos, and furniture just their
size? We do! It is located down the back hallway, second door on your
right. It is directed by a long time parishioner and adult employee of
St. Bridget’s. Other employee’s of St. Bridget assist in the nursery to
assure that the caretaker ratios set forth by the Archdioceses is
adhered to. Other policies including background checks, ages of
caregivers and pay rate are also followed. And it’s free!
Our Nursery care
program provides a safe place for your small children to play so that
you can fully participate in the practice of your faith. Children
between the ages of 4 months and 4 years of age are welcome. You simply
drop them off and sign them in. If you wish you can indicate on a church
map where you’re sitting so that if a problem occurs, the staff can
locate you quietly and quickly. The nursery provides water on request
but does not provide snacks. With the exception of a bottle, we ask
that you do not provide your child with a snack. Also, children with a
cold or other obvious heath concerns will not be allowed. These polices
are for the safety of your child as well as the other children in our
care. This service is provided for your convenience.
It’s Free and Fun!
